What's your biggest pet peeve?
Mine has to be when people don't return their shopping carts to the cart corral at the grocery store.
Seriously, people...it's a few feet away!!!
Some people take way more time carefully trying to situate their cart's wheels just so over the edge of the curb (as if that makes it okay to just leave it there), than they would just walking it over to the cart corral.
Bugs the heck out of me.
It also bugs me to no end when I arrive at the grocery store and there are abandoned carts strewn all over the parking lot -- many of them rudely blocking parking spots. Or, they are precariously situated so that when someone gets out of a car and closes the door, the noise and vibration will cause these errant carts to roll and then slam into innocently parked cars -- like mine.
So please...I'm begging you. When you're through with your shopping cart, please escort it to the cart corral or back into the store.

That never bugged me until we lived in windy Wyoming, where the carts would slam into cars because of the high winds. I also hate when people don't signal when driving (I honk), cut across the aisles in a parking lot instead of driving all the way to the end, misuse common expressions (this one happens quite a bit on The Bachelor, I don't think any of the contestants have EVER read a book)...
